That’s Right! HOD struck gold this week at the BAFTAs, where it was recognised (alongside other wins) for outstanding Visual Effects, in the Best Special Visual & Graphic Effects category. A massive congratulations to Angus Bickerton, Nikeah Forde, Asa Shoul and Mike Dawson, who pioneered this project’s VFX to success and to Thomas M. Horton, the VFX Producer. We are delighted to be a key vendor on HBO’s hit series ‘House of The Dragon‘. This much anticipated sequel to ‘Game Of Thrones‘ hit our screens in 2022 and immediately: we were all enthralled in its dramatic betrayals, bloody violence and dynamic performances.
However, beyond the screen, past the shoulders of actors and props lay the lands of fiction, where a new world was created. Whether it was a view from a window, a wound carved by a sword or an arrow soaring through the skies of battle – VFX artists stepped into the world and penned its detail. Working alongside such talented artists, both internal and external, has led to a masterpiece of Visual Effects.
